Welcome to the House of Umami Podcast! Hosted by Loghan Call. A platform to discuss the richness, complexity and deliciousness of life. They say "Umami" is the fifth taste, Loghan argues that it is in fact, a combination of the other four tastes: salty, sweet, sour & bitter...much like life. Topics will be whatever Loghan feels like from solo episodes to co-host, interviews and more. Certainly plenty about food, but at the end of the day this podcast is a gathering table for any topic and any one...just come with an open mind & heart!

Please note that the “Nothing to Eat” podcast has taken an indefinite break until we are able to produce the podcast in a format and way that allows the beautiful ethos and intention of the podcast to fully shine. In other words, what this podcast format needs to succeed is funding/sponsorship that I simply do not have at the moment but always open to that possibility!

Nothing to Eat is a live podcast, video series and rallying call created & produced by Planted Cuisine and hosted by Chef Loghan.

Think of it as “Car Talk” with the Click and Clack of home cooking! The show and series is dedicated to having an absolute blast while helping home cooks whip up delicious meals with whatever is left in their fridge along with answering any and all cooking related questions/problems.

Each week Chef Loghan will go live with a guest host (sometimes solo) as they answer callers questions live in the moment while also chatting about the guest host’s expertise and background.

Nothing to Eat will air live on Instagram each Wednesday evening at 7pm EST with episodes recorded and published to your favorite podcast streaming services with the video being uploaded to YouTube as well.

Join us be simply enjoying the show or calling in live and chatting with our hosts!

That’s the macro goal and overview of the series, the micro lens look into the concept is to use the age old phrase muttered in home kitchens around the world and use it as an opportunity to educate, inspire and most of all, make home cooking fun and engaging once again. We’ll reduce food waste, come up with new delicious (and probably ridiculous) combinations while learning and talking food together.
